About Beaver Island

Beaver Island is approximately 6 x 13 miles, with 7 inland lakes, miles of hiking trails, campgrounds, seven nearby islands, cabins, vacation homes, shipwrecks, two airports, two marinas, and two lighthouses. With a rich and scandalous history going back to the mid 1800s, the island has treasures worthy of its days as a pirate outpost (well, they were lumber pirates).
